Located within the Admin Setup menu, this module allows high-level administrators to create and manage the Chart of Accounts. It utilizes a highly structured, hierarchical approach\u2014from broad Account Types down through Account Heads and multiple layers of Sub-Accounts\u2014ensuring that every transaction is routed to the exact, correct ledger balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"user-content-purpose\">PURPOSE<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Establish and maintain the institution&#8217;s official Chart of Accounts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enforce a strict hierarchy for financial reporting (Type -> Head -> Sub1 -> Sub2 -> Sub3).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide nested, on-the-fly creation of ledger categories without breaking the data-entry workflow.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enforce an Authorization workflow (Pending\/Unauthorised vs. Authorised) to prevent the main navigation sidebar, and select the\u00a0<strong>General Ledger<\/strong>\u00a0page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The main dashboard is divided into tabs:\u00a0<strong>Unauthorised<\/strong>\u00a0(pending creation\/modification) and\u00a0<strong>Authorised<\/strong>\u00a0(active, live ledger accounts).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The table displays current chart You cannot bypass Sub Account 1 to create a Sub Account 2.
