This module establishes everything from your branch network and physical workstations to global accounting rules and loan deduction logic. Because these settings dictate how the entire system behaves, changes made here are subject to maker-checker authorization controls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"user-content-purpose\">PURPOSE<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Define the global identity of the institution (Name, Logo, Slogan, and Contact Details).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establish the structural parameters of the core banking system (Savings &amp; Loans, Credit Union, Microfinance, etc.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage the geographical footprint by adding, editing, and mapping new organizational\u00a0<strong>Branches<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Regulate specific devices by securing access to registered\u00a0<strong>Workstations<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Define global operational rules such as Default Suspense Accounts, holiday calendars, and loan interest calculation methods.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"user-content-step-by-step-guide\">STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Step 1 \u2014 Accessing the Module<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Navigate to the\u00a0<strong>Admin Setup<\/strong>\u00a0module on the main side bar and select <strong>Company Setup<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select\u00a0<strong>Company Setup<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The main dashboard will display an\u00a0<strong>Authorised<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Unauthorised<\/strong>\u00a0tab containing active company records. This logo will automatically reflect on all printed system reports and official receipts. Click the empty image holder, select your file, and click\u00a0<strong>Save changes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Branch Setup:<\/strong>\u00a0Define your physical locations.\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Input the\u00a0<code>Branch Code<\/code>,\u00a0<code>Branch Name<\/code>, and select a specific\u00a0<code>Branch Vault A\/C<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For mobile apps\/agents, input geo-fencing requirements (<code>Latitude<\/code>,\u00a0<code>Longitude<\/code>,\u00a0<code>Meters<\/code>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use the right-side table to bulk-assign specific General Ledger accounts to the newly created branch by selecting them and checking\u00a0<em>Send GL to Branch<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Workstation Setup:<\/strong>\u00a0Restrict system access to specific devices. You can add the IP or machine ID of specific teller computers and mark their status as\u00a0<code>Enabled<\/code>\u00a0or\u00a0<code>Disabled<\/code>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Holiday Setup:<\/strong>\u00a0Configure public holidays.\u00a0<em>Critical:<\/em>\u00a0Setting a date here as a holiday will force the system to automatically reschedule any loan repayments falling on that date to the next available working day.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Smart App Calendar:<\/strong>\u00a0Define the fiscal month-end dates. For every month of the year, map the exact calendar date that the system considers the &#8220;month&#8217;s closure&#8221;. This regulates your EOM processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"user-content-key-notes\">KEY NOTES<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Maker\/Checker Protocol:<\/strong>\u00a0As with other critical modules, modifying the base Company Setup generates an\u00a0<em>Unauthorised<\/em>\u00a0record. The person inputting the data cannot authorise the update.
